Two common acting questions answered by Anthony Toma.
What is the one of the most important things an actor should prepare for when getting into acting?
One of the most important things you should prepare for is your ability to read. I know this may sound quite elementary, but it is very important. Language - words can be seen as tools of an actor. You need to educate yourself on how to read them. Not only for their meaning, but obvious and subtle.
What can be the most difficult aspect of acting?
Some people think that it is getting a role, but this is not true. In my eyes the hardest thing is to "Sound Real". Anyone can get an audition, but having the ability to sound real when you do have the audition will land you the part. You need to spark the casting directors emotions, and make them believe you are perfect for the role.
